Chicago Auto Show - Question
Hey guys, I'm heading to the evening preview of the Chicago Auto Show on Feb 10th. I've checked the site and haven't found any information regarding camera usage for the event past the press stuff. Is it kosher to bring a camera to these type of events?
(It's some black tie hoorah )

Don't see why not.
As I was entering the Detroit show a week ago, they had guards at the entrance with handheld metal detectors, checking people. I asked the guard if it was ok to bring in my camera, and he said cameras were fine. Inside the showroom, I also saw a small booth selling disposable cameras. Never hurts to double check with show, though. A black tie event could be a different matter, although I doubt it. |

well i went clickity clickity at the new GR-1 concept...the corvette...the SLR...the CLK500 (or was it CLS, I don't remember)
Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds was there...got a front end shot... Carroll Shelby's concept racer that was price tagged at 1.2 million (this was in an antique auto mall exhibit...Volo for those of you in the area) Most of my shots were of the Fords...damn sweet setup over there. I got some of the new lightweight Jag.... Honestly, I have the most shots of all the cars that were rotating on a pedastal. I'm shallow like that. However, it was an excellent time and I would suggest anyone who can make/afford it should go this weekend.
