Suzuki Vinson 500 Ignition problems.
My computer illiterate brother in law is having a problem putting a new ignition in his Suzuki Vinson 500 auto 4x4. He asked me to look up on how to *properly* install an ignition in the beast, but to no avail. He's turning key but nothings turning on, he wants to know if should be in neutral or park? Any information would be extreemly helpful, thanks before hand.

I would also say park. Check the grounds, a bad ground can prevent starting, and if the vehicle did manage to start, a bad ground could spark and cause ALOT of shorting out, not good. I would also think of one more thing; if it is an aftermarket ignition, make sure to mount it as close to the engine/spark plugs, the shorter distance u place it, the less resistance you will encounter within the engine bay. Less resistance is good when doin ignitions.
