shaving cream and car paint?

some friends and I are going to play a prank on some other friends - it's a long story. The only question I need to have answered is - what effect will shaving cream have on car paint? Also, could you list any other commonplace items that are detrimental to car paint? I did a cursory search, and didn't turn up anything, so hopefully you all can answer my question. Thanks.

Don't use shaving cream!

Used whipped cream, it melts and makes quite a (non-dangerous) mess.

Menthalated shaving cream will eat the paint away if it sits too long!

How about putting confetti in their vents? Or jacking up the car and stealing the wheels?

Don't screw with his paint, bro. That stuff's expensive. If you wanna prank him involving his car, do something wierd but non-damaging. Hit the dollar store, buy a bunch of Christmas paper rolls and some tape, and wrap his car up with a big bow on the hood. Something like that. Screwing with someone's paint is not a prank, it is vandalism and could land you in jail.

I see too much of that shit in my day-to-day work. Frikken senseless and low.

Dont fuck with a mans car. No matter what they did, theres no reason to go that low.

And for reference, brake fluid will strip paint like nobodys business.

I was just brainstorming pranks - the original prank that I am seeking revenge for was having my car sprayed with silly string - I'm still having trouble getting it off of my car. Whatever, my car isn't worth that much - but I'll take the whipped cream suggestion to heart.

Whatever you do, don't put shoe polish on the paint.
I once did that decorating my cousin's pick-up for his wedding, instead of his window, when I was a kid.
I think he's still pissed 22 years later.

Friends don't mess with friends valuables. Its a good way to have to find new friends. Screwing with a friends car is childish and has consequences. Remember that the best pranks are the ones that never happen. Creating a fear that someone is going to pull one on you can be a whole lot of fun without damaging property.

What if you put something non-toxic on their car and they respond with their own version? Now you need a $3000 paint job?

I prefer a healthy mixture of brake fluid, shoe polish, bologna and some chocolate syrup for flavor. Mix in a blender and paint with a paint brush over the entire car. Happy trails!

i remember graduating high school. Came back to find my jeep filled with inflated condoms (wrappers were of course left in the car) and the entire thing wrapped in like 10 rolls of saran wrap and clear packing tape. That was a bitch, as anything close to a knife was in teh car... Just dont use the tape... the sticky stuff it leaves behind may never come off. It was slightly embarrasing, very amusing, and to this day (several years later) i still somehow find comdom wrappers whenever i clean it.

at my highschool, once time someone plastic wrapped a car and write all over it in whipped cream and stuff... me and a bunch of people were in the lot next to the exit, and seen him starting to pull out with all the stuff on a car, just as a cop drove by, and the cop pulled him over right there, lol

i also heard about people putting KY on windsheilds.... that must have been a real pain to remove

Yeah if you do a prank on someones vehicles, make sure it's not destructive at all. Unless it's a beater car and you know they dont' care about it. The saran is always a good one On my friends cars that where gearheads we used to changed the firing order around.

the condom wrappers are a good idea. what is the idea of "SOAPING THE WINDOWS"? just wiping the soap over the top so it fogs it all up?

No, you use the soap to write stuff on the windows. As someone said, it's just a little annoying (and, I guess, potentially embarassing, depending on what's written), but easy to clean.

Christ just get a bumper sticker that says "i have a small cock" or the like and put it on his rear bumper. He might not know for a few days if you get lucky enough! And, he can just take it off when he finds out, no harm, no foul.

I'm wondering who figured out that bologna can strip the paint off a car? I wonder how they found that out?

If you want to be destructive(which is a terrible horrible NO NO) eggs do a good job. The whites eat through the paint in the sun.

I dont advise this because my jr year of high school about 60 cars in my parking lot were egged, nobody noticed untill after lunch..around lunch when we all leave to skip and their car was covered in egg, we each were called out of class car by car over the whole PA system since only seniors registered their cars at the time and my plate was called

I was pretty pissed and the school board ended up paying for 75 new paint jobs and arresting 10 students from the rival high school for vandalism against personal property, school property and on school grounds. Between the 10 kids I think they had something like a 15,000 debt each to pay to cover all the damages.

My buddy and I once wasted 36 eggs and a can of shaving cream on the outside and inside of another guy's car, because that other guy wouldn't shut up about how his car was "better" than mine because it had a louder exhaust. It was well worth the effort. No permanent damage was done, but he had to spend a few days cleaning it in the sun.

Put the bologna down first and then add the shaving cream and eggs and then saran wrap the car. Works awesome once the afternoon sun is beading down on it.

Why go through all that hassle when you can just throw battery acid all over the car instead.
