05 Mustangs coming to D1

Not sure if this is old news or not, but new 05 Mustangs are coming to the D1 Grand Prix. Some people think its a good idea, and some think a mustang drifter is a bad idea. I think it would be kinda cool, theyve already got the GTO and the Viper, more competition for the japanese drifters. Even though this Team Toyo drifter will be driven by Ken Gushi, the phenom from Japan. Heres the Team Toyo Drifter

Heres a pic of Falken Tires's Mustang

They aren't very good at turning normally, so maybde drifting is the next logical step

Niiiice! i cant really drift with my Accord cuz its FWD, but what i do is put lunch trays on the back tires, pull up the parking brake, and slide away. The cops caughty me once, and i was like "yea, im just practicing my hydroplaning", he let me off with a warning. He was pretty cool.

It's even funnier to do that in a Buick, you get weird looks from people. Just watch out for the sudden traction when the friction melts them. You'll have to scrape chunks of them out of your treads, too.

Yeah the second I heard Gushi was gonna be behind the wheel of a Mustang I just smiled. And I'm sure he'll do fine in it, well he'd do fine if most anything you threw at him.

As for car styling, I would have to agree, most of the D1 cars are just ass ugly. HOWEVER is big ass letters and all, if you aren't flashy, you don't stand out, you don't stand out you don't get a fair judgement. While some may argue the D1 has some shady things going on with the judging, you also need the crowd to feel you. Plus D1 is based out of Japan of course, and the culture is a little different when it comes to pretty graphics on cars and such.
