Maybe a reason to hate us Frenchies a bit less?

At least I tried
Peugeot 907, still concept car, we don't know if it'll be released for sale.
v12(as you can see on the hood) 600HP.

it looks pretty neat...

I think the 206s are pretty hot little hatchbacks... just a shame they don't sell them here in the US.

it's interesting..I don't really like the long nose on it though. The 600 hp rating kinda makes me forget about that part though

It kind of reminds of an Aston Martin DB-something something (I don't really know my cars all that well :P). Still, very nic. Would look good in my garage with the new Mustang thingamajig.

Yep Peugeot has been trying to sell in the US for the past decade or so...but the US car market is just so darn full...all the japanese brands, then the german classy BMWs, Mercedes and Porsches, and there's some american cars left here and there...so no cookie for you, France...
which sucks because french cars have some class..I like the 206 too.
They are trying to interest Americans more my adding cupholders and such things on their cars...I know to Americans it seems weird that a car may not have a cupholder but us Frenchies aren't that disturbed by that.
However McDonald drive thrus are sadly getting more numerous in France, and cars americanize themselves bit by bit not too cool..
oh well.

I'm sorry, this car is an absolute, unqualified disaster. It looks stupid, too much chrome, the nose is too long (just like the 407's). There is thankfully no possibility whatsoever that this shocker will be built.
Peugeot had better sort their act out, and fast, if they're going to begin to be able to compete with Renault.
Back to basics, and forget about such silly, silly dreams, PSA!

well, it looks like one of those cars that would certainly get you attention if you had one. I don't mind the styling, and I like the hood with the 12 holes, but in order for it to compete with the new Ferrari's, or even the Viper, I hate to say it, but it would need to be reliable too. probably a moot point anyway as it won't be built.

I'll be neutral and just say it looks "interesting..."

Especially in that first picture, the air scoop, headlights, and hood protuberance make the front of the car look like a face... a face that had a bad face lift and now permanently has an excited expression...

It's a design concept, so even if it goes to production, many details will change for practicality sake. As a concept car, I like the looks; chances of Peugeot actually producing a car like this: IMO about 2%

Back in early '80's I bought my first Peugeot, it was a '78 504 stationwagon; it was roomy, quite large compared to other non-American made cars. Between the super comfy seats and the classically-Peugeot supple suspension (lots of wheel travel lightly sprung but well damped) I really like how it rode; barely adequate (marginal for U.S. market) power as usual (I didn't have the diesel); I like it enough that after a couple years, I bought a new 505 Stationwagon; liked it even more in most ways, still had the "Peugeot" ride quality that I still fondly remember. I thought Peugeot had to bail out of the U.S. market mainly because they got a reputation for less than adequate reliability. I remember saying to the sales manager at the local Peugeot dealer "if you guys don't straighten out this stuff quickly and stand behind the car for customer support, you'll loose what little market share you have and fail in the U.S. - about a year later they pulled out.

That does look pretty good, reminds me of the El Nino concept in NFSIII (/geekboy)
Not sure that I'm fond of this particular interpritation of the corperate front end though.

I'd rather have a Venturi, personally: http://www.carclassic.com/html/DS36.htm

How much to replace that windsheild? Yeah, yeah... it's a money-is-no-object kinda car.

Geez, I'm becoming my father. 5 years ago I would have been droolin' over that thing. Now, I'd rather just drive my truck and put the money towards student loans.

It looks compact at the back and v12 engine must make it purdy quick, I'd order one straight away if they hadn't put the steering wheel on the wrong side...
