Saturn in general
I've seen the commercials with the no BS buying that Saturn advertises. Is this true? So what does it mean, you pay the sticker price and no negotiations at all? I'm thinking about getting their new minivan when it comes out and I am curious what to expect.

Yes, it's like buying a can of beans at a supermarket. You can't haggle, it's made of recycled beer cans, and it's full of stuff that'll make you uncomfortable later. If you make an offer on a minivan, they'll just point to the price tag. (I'd get another brand of minivan...but that's just me.)

I love my Saturn. Buying from them was great. You don't have to worry about getting ripped off and there's no pressure. I would buy from them again and plan to. I haven't gotten to drive the minivan yet so I can't make any call on that.
As minivans go, I'm in the middle of testing them for myself. Saturn is on my list to test, but so far the KIA is in the lead. It has all the stuff the others do at about 2/3 of the price and 2 times the warranty. If I had lots of money to throw in the trash I would go for the Honda, but it's not worth it. |

I love my Saturn too. And I like spending time in their dealership more than any other dealership. When I bought my Saturn from there (used), it was marked at about 8,000. We talked a little, and when I said I might just wait and see if I can find something cheaper (or something like that), he ended up knocking it down to around 7,000. Maybe I just got lucky.

I bought a used Saturn not too long ago and couldn't be happier with how the buying process went. No haggling and no BS from the dealer, and the car itself runs great. I don't know much about their minivan either, but, assuming it is a good vehicle, I'd see no problem with buying one.

Saturn makes a reliable vehicle for a good price, and with a great dealer network. It's amazing to watch people smile, joke around, and laugh while conversing with their salesperson. Delivery time is cool, because the entire dealer personnel shows up at the "launch bay" to congratulate the new owner. It's neat.
