Just sold my motorcycle....depression sets in.
Well, I just sold the first motorcycle I ever had (and the only one). It was a 95 Ninja ZX6R. It was a great first bike. I have been riding for 7 years (parents bike), and bought that one 3 years ago.
I had been thinking about selling it for a while now. I dont get to ride it as much as I used to, and dont have a garage to keep it in any more, so it was just sitting in the hot sun almost all the time. It was weird. After the last hurricane (Jeanne I think), I took it for a drive to make sure everything was running ok, and a kid from up the street sees me and comes to talk to me about it. He mentioned he has been thinking about buying a bike, and I mentioned I had been thinking about selling. I gave him my # and told him to call if he was serious, otherwise I will probably actively try to sell it after new years. Sure enough, he called me 2 days ago and said he had CASH and would take it. He picked it up last night (he trailored it because he doesnt know how to ride yet) and that was it. Done deal. Now all day I have been thinging about it. I know in the next year or two I will have another, bigger, better bike. But that will always be my favorite. I just need to get ahold of my finances now, and this will greatly help. Anyway, just thought I would rant about it. |

Sounds like you need a Ducati to make you feel better...

You never know what is going to happen. I had to sell my first bike 99 ZRX 1100 when the wife took off. Sadness on top of everything else for sure. Well this year some things worked out and low and behold an 04 Red R1 was able to come my way. Keep the faith things improve when you least expect them to.

Sorry to hear you miss your bike. Love the Aprilia, but have a look at this before doing anything rash:
