Ahh see I didn't watch that and I wished I did. I watched the Overhaulin' crew do up that guys Challenger but I would have liked to see the Cuda get done as well.
Man...why did Dodge ever get of the pony car business...as much as I like Mustangs I'd kill for a modern Cuda or Challenger. Can you imagine that 6.1 Hemi crammed into a car that weighed like 3400 lbs? Drool... |

Sadly, we'll never see anything even close to the muscle car era again. Gas will never be that cheap again, emissions laws are too strict, and insurance companies are too willing to bend you over. They can do some very cool stuff with forced induction these days, but there's just no replacement for displacement. I was next to a beautiful, mint Chevelle SS the other day, and it still blows my mind that you could walk into a dealership and just buy something like that. I'd have loved to have been around back then. |

The only problem is they are hot machines wrapped in dull packages. And the new Charger is coming out but considering it's going to be a 4 door based on the LX platform(think 300C) it's going to be 3800-4000 lbs easily. It'll be fast but it's going to be heavy. That same power in a Mustang sized car....can you say 12 second quarter miles bone stock...oh yes you can... |

I got 82 chevy van with a 350..right now the engine is almost back together...after that I want to add a 3 or 4 inch exhaust then maybe find a dyno...I hope this thing will put out 300hp. Gotta love the older muscle..I will not buy anything newer then 20 years old....just so I can leave the Cat off
