The blue is starting to grow on me, at first I was like "oh, it's blue...no big deal" now it's like "wow, that's really blue, but I really like it!!"
Definately gonna go with the Nismo exhaust though. That's the first order of business!

That blue is awesome. What are your driving impressions compared to other cars you've driven? I know that you haven't experienced the straight line performance yet because of break-in. But what do you think of the handling and ride?

The handling is far superior to anything I've owned/driven, I have a 94 Integra, and before the Z had a 01 Eclipse, and they don't handle, accelerate, or hold a candle to the performance of the Nissan.
Granted there are lots of differences between the cars and all, but you can't go wrong with 3.5L of engine at all!!!

congrats on your purchase. a few things. for wheels...go with forged no matter what you get...volks would be my suggestion. i have a 2004 G35coupe, which has the exact same engine as the Z and there really isnt a ton more juice you can get out of it from stock with NA mods. you want a big step up, you have to go FI. having said that, i added a JT popcharger intake, UR crank pulley and Crawford plenum. all together, they gave me about 15-16 more hp to the rear wheels and an incredible sound at wide open throttle.
i know we arent supposed to plug sites...but for good info on your ride, check out my350z.com 350zdriver.com freshalloy.com dont get the wing. leave the exterior as it is after you up the wheels. here's a pic of the volks: |
