Okay, I admit it, I went to Hot Import Nights. I'm not a huge fan of the import scene, but I can appreciate a well done car no matter what make/model it is or who did it. That, and I haven't been to a car show in a long time. This is pretty much the first time I have taken pictures with this camera, and my first time taking pictures of cars. If I had another try, I would take more outside pictures and then move to the interior. I didn't document the cars very well. I'll post the first 50 pictures, and if anyone wants to see more, just let me know and I'll post the rest. (138 total.) Any comments or ways to improve would be very much appreciated.

Couple of quick notes:
1.) using a flash can be a real pain in the ass, for some reason, when I didn't use the flash pictures became blurry, after the fact, I was told I should have put some wax paper over it to dull it a little bit, but c'est la vie, ya live ya learn.

2.) There are a few blurry pictures, and for that I apologize. The nice thing to do would be to take them out, however some of them have a (sort of neat effect) different look becuase the flash is off.

if you have the flash off you'll often need to rest the camera on something or get a tripod unless you have amazingly steady hands

That black car with the flip up doors is kick ass! I normall don't go for ricers, but I have to admit that some of them do look pretty incredible. They are really works of art.

I was there too, I don't feel any shame in admitting that. I went there specifically to see Tila Nguyen, but she couldn't make it at the last minute. I still have 5 or 6 rolls of film waiting to be developed. Is it just me, but did you see some really nice looking cars in less than prime locations, and other shitty looking cars that made you wonder how the hell they even got in the doors?

Yeah, there were some cars there that looked pretty much stock which I didn't really understand why they were there. I can't decide how I feel about the show, it was a neat experience but I am not sure if I would go again, at least not for the money. I have another 80 or so pics, does anyone want to see them?

I like the pics, although I oculd go on and on criticizing some of the cars. I guess it's really a matter of personal taste, though. We'd love to see them all.

I'm just wondering how you get a Pontiac or a Cavalier into an import show
