Door not closing tight!
Now I got a POS 82 Chevy G20 Van, now the damn driver door isn't latching all the way, I was wondering if there is something I could do to make it close tight again...It just started doing it one day which is a piss off,The passanger side does it in the winter time just because everything is frozen. The only way I can think to fix it is get a new latch or a whle new door

Go to your local body shop..they should be able to get the parts for cheap and tell you the exact cause of the problem.

Sometimes lubing the latch with white grease or something similar will help. Also the hinge pins and bushings can be replaced, they are probably why the door is hanging and not lining up just right. Usually the latch position on the door can be adjusted about an 1/8th inch or so so it will line up better.
