My family gets employee price, so I always buy a Chrysler as the daily driver. My thoughts have always been that Dodge (and Chrysler) has great styling, but poor craftsmanship.

My 20002 Jeep Overland has had no problems though, so maybe it is improving. I remember in high school I had a 1987 Dodge Shelby Charger, and it only ran about 1 week out of every month.

Yeah, you see -you are expecting to not pay anything and leave with a vehicle. In most states there is something called a lemon law. This means that you can just return a car within a set amount of time from it's original purpose. For all they know in the dealership -you are just some guy who wants to drive around in a new car for a week and then turn it in... "Thanks but no thanks".

You wondered why they wouldn't give you the real price which is probably 30K... It's because without any cash down you just aren't a serious buyer.

Spoken like a true car salesman. Cash down is for less than perfect credit in my eyes. My credit walks on water.

Lemon laws? WTF?

I got them down yesterday, on a 04 Durango Limitied, HEMI - LOADED. 30K out the door including taxes and all that jazz.

OK, so when I go and look I should put money down before anything is negotiated so they know I am serious? Hello, when you sign the contract when it is TIME to put money down, i think they know you are serious at that point.

30k -So are you driving one? -or are you not that serious...

lol.... I still have not made a decision at this time. I am looking at: This truck, Lexus LX470, Range Rover HSE or a Toyota SUV of some sort. You have any suggestions? I love the look of these new trucks.

Dodge makes great cars.

The accountants hold the company back from being all it could be.

What I would do is make a list of pros and cons for each vehicle. Then rate the importance of each pro on a scale from 1 to 10. Likewise rate the importance of each con from 1 to 10.

Then for each vehicle add up the pros and subtract the cons... The vehicle with the highest score wins.

Just recently bought a SRT4.No complaints whatsoever with it...power out the ass and plenty enough room for my family. It is the 2nd Dodge I've owned. The first was a '69 R/T Charger with the 440.
