Replacement Radio for 96 Taurus?
Hey, i pretty much know nothing about cars but i am hoping someone can help me out. My tape deck in my 96 Ford Taurus is screwed i think, all of my tape converters for my cd player refuse to work in this tape deck. They simply and continually flip from side to side. Anyone know of something i could possibly try to fix this? Is there some website or local place (Minneapolis) i could find a replacement for cheap? In this car the radio is all one piece meaning (as far as i know) that i will have to replace the whole radio/ac/heat panel. Any thoughts?

you could put a cd player....they do make dash kits that can convert it to a normal style radio....here are some following salvage yards in your area you might try calling
Pilquist in Stillwater Upull in Rosemount

beat me to it ![]() you are better off to replace the deck and get a whole new after market one....I find the stock decks to be big ugly and underpowered. |
