400EX question
I posted awhile back that I have a Honda 400EX. Well saturday I got a flat tire and didnt notice, I couldnt figure out why I wasnt handling worth a crap and I kept running into tree's which I almost never do. But anyway. I ended up busting my lower A-arm. I welded it up and bent it back.
I definatly need a new one and I looked around I checked stock A arms which are expensive. I checked aftermarket which is ever more expensive. I don't know what to do, I really don't wanna have to drop 300 bucks for new lower A-Arms. Perhaps any of you may know a brand I should look for? Oh and anyone have experience with how brital a welded A-arm might be? Thanks guys~

Go used rather than new. There are plenty of wrecked atvs out there (of course a lot of times it's the A-arms that take the abuse). Original parts are ridiculously expensive as are aftermarket (most aftermarket are not quite stock as they've made design modifications in them). If it's only one you need, you may get lucky and not have to buy a set.
Some sources: http://216.37.204.206/ecatv/Honda_OE...e=13&A=65&B=24 http://www.atvsalvage.com/used.htm http://www.moto-directory.com/salvage.asp http://www.motosalvage.com/ As far as the weld, it depends on where it's broken and how good of a weld you did.
