Columbus OH

Peryn 03-29-2004 04:55 PM

San Diego, CA.

I haven't put gas in it in the last week or so, but when i did it was around $2.19 or so as the mega-cheapass-watered down stations, and a good 2.25 for the cheapest for decent gas. Then the usual .10 higher with each grade. And i need to put medium in these days too :(

Ilow 03-29-2004 05:02 PM

Here in Mass it's about:
1.75
1.84
1.92
and 1.79 for Diesel

I guess I'm getting off easier than some of you out there even though I have to get premium for my car (turbo).

San Diego, CA

I have a suburban right now. It costs me over 100 dollars to fill it up each time. I really really wish something was done about the prices right now.

Cynthetiq 03-30-2004 03:32 PM

Evil Milkman 03-30-2004 03:40 PM

merkerguitars 03-30-2004 03:55 PM

Mine are really close to DE17's gas prices....if I drive 20 minutes to cross the border in Minnesota i can usually save about 5cents a gallon.........damn I sorta wish I lived in texas :)

kipperoo3 04-01-2004 11:19 AM

1.799 Regular
1.999 Premium
1.709 Diesel

This is in Madison, WI

twilightfoix 04-01-2004 06:56 PM

took a trip to miami begining a feb. stopped at a gas station at one end of alligator alley and had to pay $1.80 for the cheap stuff. normal prices are:
cheap - $1.49
regular - $1.59
supreme - $1.69

bparker805 04-01-2004 07:05 PM

i paid 2.10 for the cheap shit at the cheap place today. how can oil companies justify the differences in gas prices throughout the nation? over 50 cents cheaper in texas than in california... it doesnt make any cents (haha) to me.

absorbentishe 04-02-2004 06:32 AM

I had to fill up last night, yikes!

$1.75 reg
$1.85 plus
$1.95 premium
$1.60 diesel

I have to drive to work and what not, but wife really doesn't need to drive much, and her need will be going way down. Can't afford $70.00 every other week to fill a car and a van.

soccerchamp76 04-02-2004 01:01 PM

Great, just when I fill up, the next day it drops $.15 to $1.62

laconic1 04-02-2004 03:22 PM

$1.75 for regular 85 octane in the Denver area.

grumpyolddude 04-02-2004 03:34 PM

Seen from $1.759 to $1.839 for regular today in Metro Detroit area.

MSD 04-02-2004 03:36 PM

87 - $1.93
93 - $2.13

Bullshit, I say.

Crunchy Nipple 04-05-2004 05:46 AM

Here in middle TN Premium is floating around $2.00, which is a real pain in the ass because I have a 8.1 liter engine ('72 Cadi hearse). I tend to get around 5 mpg....good thing work is a short walk away.

-Joe

madsenj37 04-05-2004 10:49 PM

$2.21 for premium at costco in Santa Cruz. $2.49 for premium at 76 and Chevron. Premium in California is only 91. I never see 93 like you do on the east coast.

From what Ive heard, its state policies that effect gas prices from state to state. My understanding is that California can only import so much oil, driving up its own gas prices due to all the exporting it does.

JohnnyRoyale 04-06-2004 03:50 AM

Boston:

(I had to hunt for this place)
Econo Gas, Commonwealth Ave, inbound

Regular: 1.61
Premium: 1.68

BTW, If you find a cheap place, POST IT!

Destrox 04-07-2004 06:21 PM

Erie PA -

87 - $1.699999 to 1.80 depending if you are near the interstate.
Diesel is around the $1.73 to 1.79 also depending as above.

Prices dont really change from CountryFair(Citgo), Apple(Shell), or sheetz.

santafe5000 04-07-2004 06:41 PM

Our prices are still hanging around $1.65/Gal. The vast differences in prices state to state are due to different state taxes, and in the case of Calif., the requirement for special air quality formulas of gas.
