Its still bad, but considering the octane you get, it could be much worse. Couple years ago i saw 103 octane gofor $5/gal, so with increased prices, and European prices, thats really not all that bad.

unleaded - aprox $5.50 a gallon (assuming an exchange rate of 1.5)
Now, I hope everyone in America complaining about the price they have to pay realises what it is like here!!

$1.89 - regular $1.99 - plus $2.09 - super Interesting how the price of gas blows up to 2 bones a gallon when Light Sweet Crude jumps to $40.00 / barrel. Now with the price of oil hovering around $53.00 per barrel why hasn't the price of gas jumped significantly? We've heard about how the Gulf of Mexico rigs were impacted by hurricane Ivan and how the Nigerian oil worker's pending strike are going to hurt an already pushed to capacity supply side. The demand should be showing a seasonal slow down but not that much and not this early. Hmmmmm....Oh well. I'll keep taking the bus when I can. Saves a bunch on parking in the queen city anyway.

$2.49 regular unleaded $2.59 unleaded plus $2.69 premium unleaded I commute 100 miles round trip a day too. Lame as fuck. EDIT (10/31/04): Well, we peaked here about 10 days ago at: $2.54/$2.64/$2.74, and now it's peeled back to $2.44/$2.54/$2.64 thankfully.

Gas prices here in Winnipeg, Manitoba are the highest i've ever seen them. THere has been almost zero fluctuation in the pricing also, with regular basically stuck at $0.80 per litre. Of course my car happens to take premium only and i'm stuck paying $0.92-.94 per litre.

Gas here is about 1.93, any grade, and diesel has been at 2.10 for about a week and a half.
I though my fuel bill was bad. Then I talked to a guy around here who paid a little over $25,000 last month for diesel. (he owns 4 rock trucks)

You guys have cheap fuel.
South Africa Unleaded 95 = $5.62 per gallon. ($1.5+ a liter). Highest in the last three months, but its been > $5 for probably the last three years. This is why hatchbacks with 1.2-1.6L engines (Ford Fiesta, VW Polo) are the most popular cars on our roads. Even the staple for trucks are 2.5 - 3.0L four cylinders, (Toyota Hilux; Ford Ranger). You rarely see a 6 liter on the road anymore (apart from an AMG, which is a status thing).

this morning gas was C$1.28 per litre.
There are 4.55 litres in one gallon which therefore makes 1 gal = C$5.82 This is a far cry from the 72 cent/Gal gas that I pumped in highschool (but I would be curious to see what a 1977 C$ compares to 2011). To compare to American Gallons: There are 3.79 litres per which makes the price of gas = C$4.85/gal - this is for unleaded 87 octane. But since 1 US $ currently = 0.97 C$, after conversion, the cost of an American sized gallon of gas here in Toronto (in US$) = $4.99 But it seems that the price of gas changes by several cents per litre every day. For example, last night it dropped by 1.5 cents.

I saw regular for around $3.60 over the weekend in north Florida, too.
Diesel is down to $3.80 mostly and I'm still kicking butt around 41 mpg per trip if I drive responsibly. It's worth it for a $45 tank that gets me over 550 miles.

On the flip side of conservation, at my last track day I burned up about 40 gallons of 110 octane leaded racegas in about six and a half hours, plus three gallons of 50%/50% distilled water/methanol that sprays into my intake manifold.
