Aston Martin Vanquish Bertone Jet 2

Just got an e-mail with a link to this car...and well I love the front end but the rear end could use a redesign.

Love the front end, but an Aston Martin hatchback? Ugh, why? I personally think thats one of the worst lines on a car I've ever seen.

I love it, and the idea of a Aston hatchback is pretty badass. However, I think it could look a lot better in the rear.

When I look at the front, the first 'name' that comes to mind is 'Jack'

anyone else think this car has a 'Jack' personality?

I can't believe Aston Martin fucked up that badly. I mean, sure, i'd still drive it, but i don't like it much at all. That rear end is just gawd awful.

the front half could make for an awesome sport coupe, a few changes and maybe even a fun little drop-top. But a hatchback? Nuh uh. not gonna work. Hate the lines on the back half. Also, those tires look like they need a little more sidewall imo.

interesting... i don't think it's that bad, but Bertone has always been on the edge of styling... it's never been for everyone

And here I was expecting the punch line to be "and I look at the back end and I think shit".

I think it reminds me of an Audi A3. Makes no sence in making this car... entry level rich guy/gal stuff, cute but worthless. Would rather make some more money and get the real thing vs ecomony class.

In Germany and Europe there are so many A3s and A2s. And I didn't see a single ricer... not 1.

Interesting ride. I think it's like the Z3 Coupe. A rare specialty vehicle that eats other cars for lunch.

I almost like the hatchback look, but someone fucked up the ass end for sure. While I like the look however, I dont think the hatchback works for this car... they need to be sleeker looking. Lower front end, not so blunt up front. Take a teardrop, and turn it sideways... thats the hatchback look.

the "big ass" style is supposedly huge in Europe right now, which means give it a couple years and it will make its way over here. Renault and Peugeot have had some pretty cool looking concepts with the huge ass that are kinda neat looking.

It doesn't really look like the back end opens up....which wouldn't make it a hatchback

Beautiful machine, but hopefully, someday, some designer is gonna realize it's not ALWAYS about the rear aerodynamics.

With a car with that much power I think rear aerodynamics might help a little.
