BMW M5 Concept

Banglified

Both the front and the rear look cluttered, no real harmony, just hyphenated lines and shapes. Rear lamp cluster looks very Impreza....

35 aspect rear tyre

Wotsay gang?

I've been seeing more and more 5 series around since I first saw them in Germany last October. I think it looks fine, not quite as punctuated like the predecessors, but it's clean and doesn't look all that "bangled"

Fron bumper is a little large...not too much definition of the shape of the car, and i dont like the headlights. But for the most part i think it looks pretty good, and nice and clean too.

bangle got fired....nice car, they really had it going when it was simple, clean, lean, mean design....too much.....in my opinion

Oh yeah, I would still drive it!

It looks alot like the 5series, there's nothing really extreme on the exterior. A spoiler wood be nice, or @ least a trunk lip.

I'm with brandon11983 who the fuck is this bangle character the car is great gorgeous, I'm guessing the big bumper complaint has something to do with ricers, but it doesn't look oversized to me at all, I see no Impreza in the taillights and I own an Impreza. No clutter in the front or back end. Sorry oane this BMW looks like they should, I just don't this lack of harmony, and as for lines just by looking at the pics you can see the car has beautiful lines. But then again that is just my opinion

I think the design will still change quite a bit, but so far it looks very good. Personally I like the older model better. It has a trademark to it, vs this is more of a Japanize flavor to the car. Too bulky (heavy looking) car.

i doubt it'll change all that much. It bears a good resemblance to the 7 and 3 series' new facelifts.

BMW has lost it's sense of design.

Say what you like about Bangle, he's been pushing things forward. I do hope that in losing him BMW doesn't lose sight of the pressing need for progressive design.

This car looks mint. I'd hit it, as I believe the saying goes...

Chris Bangle is one of the higher ups in the design of the newer BMWs. A lot of the newer beemers have a certain look to them that has been called "Bangled" or "Banglified"

Here is a Forbes article that talks about Bangle:

i love it because you cant argue with a BMW V10 that outputs 500 hp, not to mention its a very slick design, this will be one badass car, just like the 2003 M5

Not sure if I like the rear end. It doesn't seem as masculine as the current one, although it takes many styling cues from it.
