does anybody know if the bfg all terrains count as snow tires. i have them on my truck and wondering if the chp will let me go the rest of the way up the mountain for me to go snowboarding.

look on the sidewalls and see if they have a "m/s" on them... that stands for mud/snow and combining them with 4 wheel drive is equivalent to chains to the chp...
