This is what happens when a nerd buys a Del Sol/CRX

I was expecting more pimples on the owner, but this guy still fits the bill quite nicely.

Thats funny as hell

I gotta say tho, I'd much rather ride around in that than one of these ricers with a wing taller than the roof and stickers for parts they dont have.....

Funny as hell, but seriously, imagine the amount of pure WORK that went into that thing. This guy truly loves his Star Wars. I respect someone who is not afraid to show off something that he loves (hey, I still have my Jimmy Buffett window sticker!).

While the owner is quite a nerd, that is REALLY impressive. Like the movies or not, you have to appreciate the hard work that went into the building of the truely amazing car/xwing

I gotta admit, that is pretty cool. A lot of work was put into that and he did a great job.

Going to the site that JStrider put up though got me bummed out though. Some of the other vehicles in there were really lame. I hate when some geek slaps a few stickers on a car or just throws come model paint onto it and trys to pass it off as a good job.

NICE! the R2D2 is perfect. What a great use for that flattopped trunk on the del sol.

Looking at the rest of the pics on that site. . .Who the hell has enough cash to buy a whole semi truck just to support his star wars car theme?

(edit)

I wonder how he gets out. The hoses for the door mounted lasers are mounted to the body. . . does he have to get in and out Dukes of Hazzard style?

That is very nicely done. It's not something I would do to my car, but I have to appreciate the amount of time and work that must have taken. Gotta love the R2D2 in the back. That's awesome.

Since he seems to always have the "top down" and likely only drives in good weather, I would guess he climbs over the door and in.. Getting out could be tricky though, depending on how long his legs are.

I'm sure it would be amusing to behold. -

hmm i hope his name is luke or wedge.. the rest died.

any ways makes me wanna make a hummer into a tie bomber and drive near him see what he does.. lol

can you imagaine.. the "fleet" going out at night and see three TIE LTD fords and a Hummer TIE bomber.. it would be on CNN in a heart beat.

Sorry but if i ever was to steal a car that would be it.. I AM a die hard SW fan to the extreme. That would by my choice ride.. but yeah i'd remove a few of the interior stuff and rework the udercarrage lights.

now the quiestion i gotta ask..

Does the car come with its own theme music?
