It's actully called the Curve because Opel hasen't given it a name yet. Opel has supposedly taken over some of Saturn's design phases, they also have a few more new cars in concept also, as well as a few knock off Opel's from Europe.

not from me you wouldn't. I thought the last edition of the prelude was fugly, and i think the current accord sedan is ugly, and I think the Civic Si is underwhelming both in performance and looks (it looks like a squished minivan)
Yet I'm a diehard honda fan. Isn't it kinda stupid to stereotype all honda owners? |

well, I guess I really wasnt trying to stereotype....just point out a little observation....
I'm not a Honda fan, and i really like the looks of the S2000. This saturn is a little strange for me, but I was just thinking as I looked at the pics and readd the replys that if this were a Honda or Toyota, many people would sing a different tune. Just thinking out loud I guess....dont mind me |

So was the design inspiration for the front end from a truck or a bulldozer (although it also looks strikingly similar to that Audi performance concept that looked like a futuristic racing Hummer back in the early-mid 90's)?
The back resembles a RX8 to me too. The front is just so ugly it ruins it imo. |

looks pretty cool, i like the muted yellow dials. antique looking, nice touch.
one thing i noticed was the extremely high window line, exactly like a 350Z. gotta crank your left arm way up high to rest it on the window sill unless your yao ming... easier to rest your head down on it. |

-Performance Figures-
-Power: 230 bhp / 171.6 kW @ 6200 rpm -BHP/Liter: 104.5 -Torque: 298 Nm / 219.8 ft lbs @ 4200 rpm not bad #'s for a 4 banger... but still if they cram a V-8 with that kinda power/liter ratio.. wooo... then, and THEN ONLY would that car be cool I mean shit.... ~500 hp?? I'd nut myself... hell.... even a sixer with that kinda 100+ hp/liter... ~350-400 hp why must this world dip back into the 1920's and use 4-bangers all over again... (damn tree huggers and the "they get good gas mileage" shit... I mean Europe understands the need to use 12 and even 14 and 16 cylinder HIGH RPM screaming machines... why do we have to be retarted here in the states... Take the Skyline for you ricers for example.. they have a V-8 IN it in JAPAN.... but will you ever see that here in the US??? nope 8 cylinder, loping, rumbling, punch you in the gut, and kick your ass, wild cam'd, V-8's are still the shit though... F-BODY'S TIL I DIE!

I like it but would have to pass if they put the gutbag tranny in it. I have never had a gutbag but I have heard nothing but bad about them.

i'm a saturn fan(mostly because i own one, i'm working on aquiring an 3rd gen RX-7 though, maybe even a 2005/2006 rx-7 if those come out in the states), but damn, thats got to be one ugly interior.
Kurant's right, most skylines come with a straight 6 but the 2003 R35's do come with a V8(big mistake for them), if an earlyer model skyline had a v-8 in it, thats because some stupid ass put it in there.
