Here in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada we have 6 months of winter. So in the winter a lot of us drive winter beaters so we don't wreck our nice cars.

Does anyone else drive a winter beater??

AJJI, you can probably find the Acura TL in Europe but it would be labeled a Honda (Acura is just a rebadged Honda, like Lexus=Toyota and Infiniti=Nissan).

I did a little searching through Honda's Japanese website and I think the Acura TL here is the Honda Accord Euro R everywhere else.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

But Acura, Lexus and Infiniti are all the luxury cars of the cheaper cars.

In some cases thats true, at least in the US. However in other countries there is no "luxury brand" for these companies. They just have more models, like what would happen if we merged the acura and honda lines together here in the us. The RSX is still the Honda Integra in japan im pretty sure, doestn make is a less luxury car.

i have a 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. i've owned it for about 5 years now and ive done so much work to it.
in a quick summary, its "performance white metallic", which is pretty much a pearl white. all the aluminum has been chromed. 15in AR Torq Thrusts. the interior is mostly original and is tan in color, swivel bucket seats and center console.
just recently me and a good friend put in a new ZZ4 crate engine and Transmission from Hughes.

its a beautiful car, i love it because its an overall just awsome car. it has style AND power which to me is something lots of vehicles lack the combination of, its always one or the other.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/cky76 is the link to the page i have for it, anyone else with a 73-77 GM A-Body car message me sometime!

That is a nice S13, Minorci. I'm 20, and I own a 1990 RX-7, and a 1984 Corolla Hatchback SR5. I am trying to sell my SR5 and look for a GTS. Oh, and no mods to either car.

My First car i bought on my own was a 1997 Chevy S-10. It has the pretty cool V6, But a V8 is goin in for sure. I just had it repainted original black, and what looks better on a truck than BFGoodwrich All-terrain TA KO's.
I'll Try to get a picture soon.

Its 542 hp 545 ft. lbs of torque at only 5 pounds of boost. I'm guessing at about 750 with 8 lbs of boost. Fun to drive but right turns are a b!tch

Re:

Well, there is Porsche aafficianados (sp?) and then theirs the purists, I'd say its about 50/50 whether they like it or not, either way they can't keep up. This motor still keeps me at a 50 /50 weight ratio front and back so it handles great, I just can't see that well to the right when I am driving. The blower is a HUGE blindspot.

I drive (and try to keep fuel in) a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab 4X4. It's a great truck and I love everything about it except it really likes gasoline. It's new so I really hope the fuel mileage gets a little better real soon. Right now it is getting 13-15 mpg. The only mods to it are nerf bars (so the wife can get in!), an Aeroturbo exhaust and TrueFlow air cleaner.

Rebuilt e-block with i-head, M3 specs. M3 clutch and tranny.

Still have to put my 16" wheels on it Monday, though.
Washed and waxed yesterday, so I'll need to take new shots later this week.
hmm, I'm going to try and find a secluded spot along PCH and get luscious to strip on the car.
Maybe do a spread with her girlfriend, hahaha, keep an eye out for it in exhibition.

LOL, she just pointed out that I've got her head, her car, and her breasts all on the same page.

I'm 21 in Ontario and I drive a 92 Beretta GT. Currently has a 3.1 MPFI under the hood. I call it my budget Camaro, though I haven't decided exactly what I want to do with it yet. Possible future directions to take with it :

-swap out the engine with a 3.8L SFI. It'll be a lot of work, but if I can pull the drivetrain from something like a Bonneville SSEi, it's 100 hp gain right there without any modification to the engine.

-modify the current engine in there for as much horsepower as I can manage. I'll want a supercharger because I hate turbo lag in any form and can't be bothered with sequential turbos or messing around with spools. Before that comes the new heads, some headers and possibly dual exhaust with an h pipe, new cam and pistons, a new chip, new injectors and a new ignition, plus as much weight ripped out as I can manage. Note that these modifications are wildly out of order due to it being nearly 3 am and my being really fucking tired.

-leave the engine stock and concentrate on getting a better car to sink my money into. This is the loption I like the least, due to my desire to modify any car I drive ('never leave 'em stock'), but given my current cashflow it may be the most likely.

Either way I also plan on putting in massively upgraded suspension, looking into swapping the rear drums for a set of discs, a paint job and some minor bodywork to give it a bit of a custom look. My goal is to get it moving faster and handling better, with over 250 hp at the wheels.

Next car is a 79 Trans Am, with a blown, bored and stroked 383.

Quick edit, upon my realising how redundant that last statemnt was. Of coruse a 383 is stroked, but bored and blown all the same. At which point it's not really a 383 anymore. But hey. 3 am, that's my excuse and I'm standing by it.
