Thats a pretty agressive body kit. Not my style, but I bet it will look pretty good.

I don't have much on my car so far, just downpipe, upgraded turbos, and some other stuff.

Definately have a lot planned for my car this summer to make it look better... new exhaust, suspension, brakes, and possibly new rims.

So choskins how much did you pay them to sit on your car?

LOL just playing nice wheels:thumbsup:

choskins 06-08-2004 06:48 PM

It is part of my Corvette shop's bi-weekly meet at the local Hooters. (I don't own the shop, but I am their legal counsel. Oh, and unofficial spokesman, kinda like Mr. Wendy. LOL!)

R3d 06-08-2004 08:15 PM

for some reason i love the body styling of the older vettes like yours choskins.. the new ones are nice still.. but theres something about the previous styling that i really like... great looking car tho.. if anything.. id have some white rims on that.. thats the only thing id change :)

choskins 06-09-2004 05:49 AM

R3d, those are the factory wheels. It is a 1996 Grand Sport. The blue/white paint, red fender slashes, and black rims were all factory. They made 1000 of them as a tribute to the original 1963 Grand Sports that made racing history. I took it to Callaway to have the body kit and motor work done. That is why it is 1 of 4.

19. Wisconsin, USA. Put in about $1000 since initial purchase. Plan on spending another $1000 or so to make it go faster.

1998 Chevy Malibu. 155 HP V6. 75K miles. Runs like a dream, smooth ride. Very comfortable. 25% tinted windows (came like that). Bought it 3 months ago.

Custom stereo (specs in this thread: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...87#post1244487 )

Planning on putting in a straight catback exhaust system and possibly a cool air intake, for shits and giggles.

I think it looks pretty cool, especially the side profile. I remember a buddy of mine having a turbo Fiero that was sweet! It was a GT and the forced air vent looked like a triangle coming over the roof.

The S2000 was gonna be my next choice after the TL if I didn't need storage and passenger space

Pride_Wong 06-22-2004 07:44 PM

The s2000 is a great weekend car - I love mine :)

Scorps 06-23-2004 10:31 AM

How do you people under 21 afford such nice cars? I'm 26, driving a 1997 honda civic ex. I just can't bring myself to pay more than $350 a month for a car. They seem so disposable.

Ya I got the same problem....maybe I need a new job...

With the job I got now I don't think I will ever get a 04. Mazda 6 Sport 3.0l V6

Draak 06-26-2004 07:40 PM

I have a 1985 toyota tercel hatch, not even the 4wd model.

wonderwench 06-26-2004 07:49 PM

We have three vehicles:

- 1990 Miata (original model year)
- 1994 Explorer Limited
- 2000 Volvo S70

I used to use the Explorer as my primary vehicle when I commuted down to Silicon Valley, but my husband and I traded last year - I now drive the Volvo. It is quite peppy and fun.

The car has done a best of 11.87 @ 121 at Sacramento Raceway so it has it's share of goodies. I'm also proud to say I've done all the work myself in the comfort of my own garage. The car was only dyno'd twice. Both times not in it's top form...once when she was stock she managed a pull of 270rwhp and 305tq (not bad for a bone stock M6 LT1) and the photo above with just boltons + the car's first n2o kit (not the one pictured above).

lol the intake and more sitting on the garage floor durring the LT4 Hot Cam install ;)

Btw, choskins I envy you ;)

DDDDave 07-01-2004 05:40 PM

Very, very nice.

Don't keep us in suspense, what did it pull the last time.

121. Even with slicks, that's gotta mean 450+.

kempster 07-02-2004 04:54 AM

For all you car crazy people you should check out [url]url] It's a pretty cool site probably has your region already on there. Beware, there is ALOT of shit talking going on in there though.

Edit: Deleted the web site address./ I'm a n00b and I just read the rules and such. So I went ahead and deleted this before I get in trouble on my second day here;)

I wish I had a TDI right now with the gas prices all jacked up. I have thought about trading the GTI in on a TDI but just haven't been able to bring myself to it yet. Eventhough it would be pretty easy to get 400 ft lbs of torque outta a 100 whp car:)

I love the Audi's. I have the 1.8 20v turbo also. Wanna race? :)

MR_WALLACE 07-02-2004 08:30 AM

Ok .........but let's do it in Germany.

I wish I could come over to Germany. I'd love to see all the German Spec cars. I hate the US in that aspect! I wish we could have the same cars over here as over there. You wouldn't happen to have some pics of some nive VW's would you?
