Thats fucking sweet. The stance looks a lot better than most of the early Elky's I've seen. Nice and cleeeeeeean.

Now I said before I was getting a 03' Nissan Sentra now that is one but watching Spike TV's 52 best cars..I can afford either a Nissan 350Z roadster(just need to think about insurance with that deal), a 04/05 Mazda 3 Coupe or Mazda 6 4dr Sedan, 97 240SX(with a ton of engine mods) for just over 8K(CDN).

So as I rack my brain every second or every day I don't know which one I will buy....so many cars so little money!:(

55, I think, PA.

1996 Mustang GT convertible and 1990 grandson of Secretariat.

Former I saw at a dealership, used, a few years back and they wanted $17k. Declined, though I loved it and looked online. The same dealership was selling it online for $12k...typo, btw. I called them on it and they gave it, er sold it to me for the 12. Love the car!!

The latter is my ride around the farm, and tho only one HP, gives me the same sorta thrill

im 18 and live in new zealand

I have a 1986 Mitsubishi Mirage that has only doem 60 thousand kms (dunno what that is in miles) and I'm the second owner (first owner was my Nana that drove the car to the dairy every shopping day and church on sundays)

i also have a Wolseley 4/44 which i am thinking about restoring as a cyclist rode into the back of it while my father was driving it (he was actually stationary at the time and the cyclist left a mighty dent) The car was parked in our garage the day it was crashed into and it hasnt moved since (it happened a few years after i was born) so im guessing it will need a new engine :<

Primarily for setting roof trusses, although I have used it to move a shed, set light poles, take sludge tanks off of trucks, and once helped retreive a dump truck that fell through a bridge. (Lifted while a wrecker pulled, I don't have near enough truck to swing a 10-wheeler around.... yet)

But most of the time it's a 35,000 pound yard ornament. :hmm:

I drove an STI for a minute or two once. I never took it out of second or off side streets when I test drove one (I was not supposed to drive it at all). The torque on that little four banger is amazing and it has no turbo lag.

BadNick 06-04-2004 09:58 AM

DDDDave,
nice ElCamino. I always like those even though they have limited utility, I'm not a truck guy anyway.

On my way in to work every day, I pass thru Conshohocken PA ...sorry if that sounds like I'm ready to spit... and a dealer right under I-476 there has a white 1957 ElCamino on the lot for sale, looks original. Man, that car looks cool.

I don't know if I already posted in this thread or not:
1995 Toyota Supra, Twin Turbo 6sp, black, slightly massaged to allow 20+psi boost, no stickers. It's very fun and reliable.

My first car I bought for myself in 1972 right after I graduated from college and got my first job, it was a '67 Jag XKE Roadster. Man, I loved that car and am sorry I ever sold it. It was in perfect condition, 35k miles on it, and cost me $2000; today that car in that condition is worth around $40k. A couple minor Lucas electrical gremlins that I found I "corrected" the design instead of just repaired like original and never had another problem.

It is a boxer design. Im being a laymen and using banger as cylinder.

I was not on a real test drive. I do dealer trades for a certain dealership and one of the salesmen snuck me the keys.

I know banger is used as a reference to cylinder.

Damn that sounds like a fun job.....and if a salesman gave me the keys to a car like that I would driven the nuts out of that car:D
