Both to soon go away for something V8 powered RWD and fast within the next year or so. Depending on what GM,Ford, and Dodge show at the auto shows in 05. If the Camaro shows up I might just get a truck until they come out...that or a Cobra.

'01 X-5 (which will soon be for sale, like tomorrow)- Can't stand the car. Has SUV handling, in spite of what they tell you at the dealership. Also, for some reason, BMW can't engineer an air conditioning system worth a damn.

I also drive a '98 SLK that AMG had its way with, though it isn't an AMG. Went through a thorough engine modification, suspension, and the like, but stopped short. It is a wonderful automobile, and, fifty years from now, when I am old and gray, if diagnosed with a terminal illness, I hope to drive it very fast off a cliff into the Pacific Ocean.

A 1992 Holden VP Commidore in NSW, Australia. Not too sure what the equivalent is in the States. I think they're badged as Opels in Europe? Anyway. Stock everything at the moment. Dual Fuel (LPG) 3.8 Liter v6, Almost 300,000 Kilometers on the clock. New 16" rims come factory on a 2004 Berlina.. Needs to be lowered a few inches so it doesn't look so jacked up.

Heres my car at the moment not so good of shape those fenders on that page should be on my car by next week if everything goes smoothly later today.http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...36_21_full.jpg
I'm not just getting these fenders because they look good but because I'm literally saving myself money. As odd is at sounds these custom fenders are costing me only $170 CDN ($130 U.S.) to replace one fender it will cost me $140CDN (cheapest) at 4 junkyards I checked out.
http://memimage.cardomain.net/member.../703236_29.jpg
and heres the paint scheme I'm going for

RB26dett is a really expensive engine for a 240sx, also a bit of overkill. It'd throw the balance off a hell of a lot, and you would have major traction loss. It'd also, if the 240sx has a similar engine bay size to the silvias here in Oz (presumably they do) it'd be an absolute nightmare to fit the engine in. If you wanted to go the engine conversion path on a 240sx, I'd recommend either the SR20det (probably heard of it already), or an rb20det. The RB20 is bigger than the sr20, and would be a sorta tight fit, but not nearly as bad as the 26. Plus it's a good engine, and you can get a lot of power from them fairly easily. 6 cylinder as well, so you'd have decent low down torque. It'd make the arse end a bit tail happy, but not nearly as bad as the rb26 would, and it'd most likely be a lot cheaper.
Either case, good luck with it.

Death_alive 10-18-2004 06:55 AM

Hey hunterdevourer, Yea i know the rb26dett is expensive and very hard to swap... but it has been done seen it at a show car... but like i said at a show... and I dont have the time right now to do it and like i said its only a dream for that engine :( still thanks for the info

I just wanted to say first that pork's scooby is absolutely ridiculous, very nice ride.

I have a 1999 acura integra, with an ls/vtec hybrid motor. 76,000 kms on car, 3,000 kms on swap.

Motor mods: Skunk2 cams and Intake Manifold, Aem intake, JDM spoon ITR pistons, ARP everything, mild port and polish, JDM ITR valve cover, Edelbrock pro-flo header, custom cat-back with Apex-i N1 muffler.

Only other mods are OEM ITR spoiler, and a skunk2 shifter and knob.

car is putting down 220 whp and 149 lbs trq (at 8000 and 7300 rpms respectively).
