I really like the look of your bike Nate. I like that Japinese chopper thing. The Jesse James chopper thing is cool, but getting old.

nate_dawg, looking damn nice. Should be a helluva scoot when you get finished. Is that a shock under the seat or just a spring set up?

my bike looks just like this
except this is a 750 and mine is a 650. also, mine isnt quite as clean and shiny as this. still, it was dirt cheap and is a fun little sportabout.

One of the things I like best about this bike is the sound it makes while winding out - just like a Ferrari as it pulls up through the gears. That and the flying picket fence effect of seeing all those exhaust pipes coming at you is pretty cool. It is claimed this bike has the most moving parts ever put between two wheels. Here's a great review of the bike. http://www.cbxclub.com/davespage/cyc81-1.html |

This isn't my bike, but I thought it was rather different. Spied it strapped down on a boat in Victoria Harbor, British Columbia, Canada. Notice the antlers and the tail and the bell.

Nice knuck. Did he lose a bet on the frame though?
Admittedly, my Honda has a sprung rear, but I don't have the scratch to blow on a new frame for it. Still diggin' on nate_dawg's Yamaha though. I hope to build a Triumph or Yama-bobber as my next project after the CB750-K4 that I'm working on now. What all do you have left to do aside from paint, nate? |
