Wow, this one is tough.
I CANNOT narrow it down any further so I will give my top three: 1975 Corvette Stingray 1967 GT 500 Mustang (shown here in a crappy color, better with the blue and some better wheels) 2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello (absolutely fucking beautiful car) What I would give to have all three of these in my garage...

Wow. It's very hard to come up with a short list. Totally impossible to come up with just 1.
1935 Auburn boat-tail speedster http://www.californiaclassix.com/arc...burn_c167.html 190x Rolls Royce Silver Ghost http://www.rrab.com/rsg_gb.htm Lotec Sirius concept http://www.supercars.net/cars/2001@$Lotec@$Sirius%20Conceptg.html (drool, even if it's 0-60 time is too slow for its power) I'll second the Jag E-type too. |

Not to knock anyone's choices, but this thread is about the best looking car of all time, not your personal favorite. for instance, I love the idea of the Skylines, but they are not a beautiful car. They are great, and look good, but I think you are confusing performance with looks.
Here are a couple of my choices: http://www.bobileff.com/graphics/lam...i_muira_rf.jpg beautiful Lamborghini Muira. http://members.lycos.co.uk/djdoughnu...%20-%201968%20 http://www.blackhawkcollection.com/i...ord%20mt1f.jpg Chosen for what it became, a an idea that anyone could afford a car, and the first cars to be hotrodded. http://www.allsportauto.com/photoaut..._biarritz_04_m Nothing spells excess of the glory of the auto like a 5000 lb two-seater convertible with fins and whitewalls. |

...i think so far everyone has said what they feel to be their personal favorite best looking car. someone may think the skyline is the best looking car ever. that's their opinion. this whole thread is a matter of opinion. there is no "best looking car ever," there is only the individual perception of what the "best looking car" is, which will obviously vary from person to person.

but she might think it's the most beautiful car she's seen. i mean, just because it's fast doesn't mean she likes it because it's fast. the '67 corvette is a beautiful car, but if it wasn't fast, it would still be as beautiful. in her mind, maybe the skyline is the same way.
my point is only that all that was said was "R32 &34 Skyline (in blue of course) s15 Silvia" she even specified the color. she didn't mention anything at all about speed or engine or performance, so i don't really think it is our place to call in to question the motive behind the suggestion, despite our personal opinion of it's apperance

BMW M6 (the entire six series in fact) in my opinion had some of the cleanest most beautiful lines of any car ever made.
Two doors, frameless windows, sleek yet pronounced front end, sexy angles of main glass. Gorgeous. As did the old Alfa Romeo coupes and the 70s era BMW 3.0s -bear
