Haha, thanks for the feedback guys. Well, the article is slightly biased, as I only chose cars that I would buy. Not saying I wouldn't rock a mustang if I just happened to cross one really cheap, but it's not something I would actively look for.

I knew that would irk some people when I left it out, but I tried to pick one car from each company that I thought deserved a spot. The focus just seemed more proper for the "college student".

There are other cars that I'm sure people think deserve a spot, like honda civics, but again, I tried to pick one car from each manufacturer. Most fast civics use integra engines anyway. Heh.

you might wanna edit the miata section - the part were you say it can beat every car on the track. Specify autocross track, 'cause there is no WAY it's gonna beat those 4 vipers on the road course it's on in the pic ;)

Get that Focus out of there. Except for the supercharger (which runs very low boost), the only mods college students make to them are altezza's, projection lights, and bling bling rims that weigh a ton.

Don't get me wrong, I like the SVT Focus, just wouldn't recomended it for tuning.

I don't know, adding 50-100hp in a car that doesn't have the suspension, brakes, or transmission to handle it always seems like you're playing with major fire. Gimme those Vipers any day.

Rx-7's are sweet cars to play w/....gotta love those wankel engines

Integra, GTI, WRX. All excellent choices. A student who lives next door has a sweet modded GTI
