what you all think of the mazda 3?, i wanna hear it from a non bias point of view from people thats not on a mazda forum :)

they are kick ass!

they look very cool. A nice evolution for the protege series...

a step up, but not enough of one for me. of course i've never been much of a compact hatchback 4-banger kinda guy...

the interior looks VERY nice for the price paid (a little over $20k) and the exterior is classy... nice wheels. the grille looks a little european for my tastes, very peugeot/renault.

overall it's a good contender in it's class, it's just not the class for me.

i will admit, however, that i like the hood, i like how it's distinctly HOOD and not just an extension of the winshield (see Civic Si)

I'm looking at getting this car and would like a few more peoples' opinion on it. Has anyone driven one of these? It pumps out 148 hp compared to the Civic's 117. The only problem I see with this car is that some basic things like ABS and Air-Conditioning come extra. :/
