I just bought a Honda 400EX (yellow one). Its a hardass piece of machinery wow :) I have rode them before along with Suzuki Z400's but you really need to own a 400 to understand the amazingness of one of them.

My blaster was a moped compared to this thing!!

Anyway, Anyone own a Z400 or a 400EX (or even a the yamaha 450)

Whaddya think of the differences between the Z's and the EX's? I like EX better obviously thats why I bought one. But I know the Z is the hottest seller right now.

In my experience the torque of the EX can rip the balls off of you if your not careful. One hell of a ride. Getting on one of those after a blaster must be insane.

Always wanted to ride one of those. I used to ride dirt bikes quite a bit as a kid, and thought that the 4-wheelers look like a blast. Nowhere hereabouts to ride though.

its the exact opposite for me. Getting my tubby ass on a dirt bike is suicide. I like the comfort of a full suspension under me.

Ive ridden a ton of bikes in the sand, and i have to say, i laughed when my boy bought a new 400ex because i thought only a built-to-the-nuts banshee could ever be fun. Boy was i wrong, they both have their hight points but a 400 is the only four stroke i have ever had so much fun on, these bikes are great. Can you say wheelie machine. Anyway they are so easy to ride half the time my buddies GF is right on his ass even though hes riding a 100+ hp banshee (hes scared)....my .02

Just be careful with them! You can get hurt pretty bad.
