No, this was pretty much the standard landing at the older Hong-Kong airport. I am sure some here have flown there.

This was not remotely wild compared to stuff I've seen.....

That is the old Hong-Kong airport. I've seen another video shot there of another 747 the resulted in an engine striking the runway.

That's a 747-400 actually, and its autopilot can't do that. that was all pilot.

I fly alot , and I wonder what that must have felt like for the people not seeing out of the front of the plane.
