Got a new car
 

I decided to go ahead and get a newer car while I slowly work on my 92 maxima.

Got a 1997 328i in Alpine white/Tan interior with a 5 speed transmission.
The maxima maybe a little faster through the 1/4 mile, but the bimmer is such a breath of fresh air in the handling department. And this car really moves on the highway. I raced two of my friends with 97 5 speed maximas with intake and full exhaust and I was either dead even or pulled away a little in 4th gear. :)

looks nice, but i prefer the older mid 80's body style of the 3 series, the newer ones look bloated, not saying i would turn one down :D

Hey G4ME, his car only is a few years old, not a mid eighties. The 80's were cool for what they were, but if you want something more reliable, get something newer. Hey Pezking4, car looks good. I have one white car, and I am glad you did not get silver, because there are too many silver bimmers on the road. The Maximas may have some power, but their stock suspensions are pretty weak. A new one autocrosses regularly, and he squeals his tires through every turn. This in not a bash on Maximas, but they are not in the same class as BMW.

I like the newer style Beemers better then the old square ones

yeah, I love the E46's too, but my E36 doesn't seem very square to me. Do you mean the E30 series?

I actually work at Ford. I'd take an 03 cobra, but other than that, I like the 4 doors :)

Bout to upgrade the brakes actually. I'm trying to decide if I want to use ATE powerdiscs or just Brembo blank rotors, and ATE pads or Axxis Ultimate pads.
