What Model?

I'm think of getting rid of my 82 chevy van, and rebuilding the 350. Now all I need is a 80 or older car that i can do a small restore on that will look good...I was thinking of a late model Camaro or a 70's Pontiac?

Please, no chevy motors in a Pontiac. (Sorry, I'm a die hard Pontiac guy.)

How about finding a 78-80 G Body? Or a late 70's vette?

C4 vettes are amazingly cheap and still in good condition. C3's are the best looking IMO and again, youd be surprised how cheap they can be picked up if you dont need a working engine. Should easily be within your price range.

Ya the vette's in this Auto Trader cost to much but there is a 1986 Firbird for 1400, with a spare car for parts...car in in good condition.... I know WarWagon wont like to here this but if I can get enough money soon I might go for it...

I would go for the Camaro. They just happen to be my favorite car.

Actually a Malibu is a great car. You can drop a 350 into it if you don't find one with one in it.......ah the 350 *sigh*

Well there is a 350 in the van right now..but the Malibu isn't driveable. I would like to get a driveable car so when I rip the trany/engine out I will have a car to go to work and back.
