what should I do with replaced car radio?
I replaced my origional 1991 Acura radio with a new Alpine radio with 6 disc cd changer about radio 5-6 years ago. For the past year the cd changer was broken, so I just replaced it with a new indash radio w/ indash cd player. I still have the origional Acura Radio with origional Bose speakers, and now I have an Alpine Radio with Casette player sitting in a box. Any suggestions as to what to do with them. I checked ebay to see what they could be worth but did not see any there. Should I just put them on ebay and try to make a few bucks, or does any one else have any suggestions. Thanks

Keep them for when you sell the car... you might want not want to sell the new one with it....

Sell them on ebay. You should be able to get a decent amount of scratch for them.

I'd keep it for now. After my deck was stolen I had to put the stock one back in since I couldn't afford a replacement.

Keep them in a closet somewhere. Read what bobw and crazybill5280 said for reasons why. Shit happens sometimes so be prepared.

If its a factory cassette player it might not get alot of money....so you might just want to keep it for a rainy day
|
you could for the novelty of it... hook it up on a table with a DC converter and use it in the garage :)

cars with factory head units normally sell a little better, since its mostly teenages that replace the factory ones and no one wants a car drove by a teen
