What's the next car you'll buy/lease?

We're considering getting a third car. I need something for the winter when the snow gets too deep for my car and which will allow me to garage my car to make more in-depth repairs to it (or other maintenance items). I hate having to do everything on the weekends.

The third car will also serve as a fun alternative for my wife and her minivan.

We're considering a Jeep Wrangler. What's on everyone else's list?

well im driving a 93 ford explorer... with 4wd... it would prolly be a good relatively cheap to buy vehicle...

ive driven it in the snow once and it did pretty good...

as for a Jeep Wrangler... get a hard top if its gonna be mostly for winter driving... it will be warmer... and better on the highway then the cloth top...
i havnt heard much bad things about the wranglers...

Hardtop, roll up windows, and a 6 cyl. I had a Rio Grande Model, 4 cyl, soft top, zip up windows, no air. 1 year living in the south and I sold it, but was very high on the fun factor when I lived in the icy north..., plus nothing live removing the top and doors and driving around "naked" err the car, not me..

Well if you are looking for a reliable 4x4, I would look at Toyotas. Especially the 89-94's. Toyota 4 cyl's last forever. I know many people who have theirs up to 300k and more. They are quite cheap too. You can find ones in mint shape with like 125k miles (just broken in for a yota ) for around 5k. Just a thought for you...

I'm currently driving a 2003 Audi A4 1.8TMQ Avant and a 2004 Acura TSX 6spd/Navi.

Hopefully my next car will be a weekend car.........like a Honda S2000.

Subaru Imprezza. I really want a sports car, but I need four wheel drive. This looks like the only one I will be able to afford after college.

Next on my list is an 89-91 Taurus SHO. I love the cheap, obscure, old sleepers.

my next car will probably be a 99-00 WRX. That won't be for a few years though, so they should be pretty cheap by then.

I do not think that i will be buying a car for a while because 2 weeks ago my 91 sunbird blew a head gasket and basicly destroied itself. so I went out and upgraded to a Mercedes-Benz C240 Life is Good!!!

Probably another maxima. Either a 97-99 SE 5 speed with really low miles, or a 02-03 SE 6 speed. I find them to be very practical, and still fun to drive.

Had a '97 Maxima for a few years. Great car and fun to drive, but got rid of it when I found the 928 I wanted. I still like the Maximas, but they're no comparison whatsoever to the 928.

If you are looking for a truck-like suv, that is cheap and reliable look into an 98+ Isuzu Trooper. They are tough as nails, powerful 3.5 v6 engine that is very reliable, and a great 4x4 package.

Isuzus are incredible trucks, I have been a big fan of them for many years. Their engineers built the greatest diesel on the market today (the duramax) and are very popular in every country except the U.S.

Isuzu has absoulutely no idea how to market their vehicles, let aone run their business. they have been steadily declining in units sold per year since 1985. The up-side, is that their re-sale value is disgustingly low. You can pick up a loaded almost-new 4x4 trooper for under 10 grand.

Let me know if you'd like any more info.

Though my car is fairly "new" to me, I'm definitely looking for a 91-94 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 as my next car. I absolutely love the way that they handle and perform.
