best NEW car around $15 000 CDN (Which is around $11 000 US)
 

My friend's searching for a new car now, and he doesn't really know what to get. His budget is around $15 000 CDN (Take or give) and he doesn't know what are some good cars that he can get for that price.

He's looking for a car that he can get the most value out of, preferably with power windows/locks, but that isn't necessary

Does anyone have any good suggestions?

You're not gonna find much for that kinda money for a new car. I think he will be better off lookin' for a used car.

Chevy Cavalier sedan. Throw in a few options and it'll be 15 grand.

Go used. *WAY* more car for your money, maybe look into the "new-used" market... cars with less than 25K on them or so. Remember the golden rule, you take a 10% depreciation just driving the thing off the lot? Well, it goes both ways... make it work to your advantage.

kia? dont know if they have thoes in canada. frankly i would look in to used first too.

Not much, really. Hyundai and Kia. Both makes have dramatically improved their build qualilty, so in my opinion, they are worth looking at. Otherwise, look at a 1-2 year old vehicle.

I would second the Cavalier... a lot of car for just about $15,000CN

Cavaliers start at $12K CDN so you could get a pretty well optioned one for 15.

hyandai kia cavalier saturn. neon might have a model in there.

Id be thinkin used too tho, 99-00 civic SI maybe? there right around there. or SiR since your in canadia.
