It depends on your definition of fast.
I know for a fact that my 1998 Valkyrie will do 135mph. That would be a limit of the driver, not the bike. Cornering is limited by my engine guards, which I scrape every other ride. I live in the mountains and cruise up and down canyons. Ducati's and Aprillia's lose me in the corners, though I can usually catch up in the straights. I have no interest in track riding. |

I unloaded my ZX6R at the beginning of the winter. Mildly modded, really enjoyed it. Handles great, plenty of pep, sounds good, looks good (to me).
I hope to pick up another later this year.

I highly recommend the book - Twist of The Wrist II by Keith Code, it comes with a DVD. I purchased it about a year ago, and even-though I don't get to a track very often what he teaches about the basics of high performance riding applies to normal street riding as well. I read, try it out, re-read and try it again until the bad habit holding me back is gone (and I had a few and still have a few more), it is amazing to me how much I have improved and how much confidence I have gained.
