Any (fast) motorcycle enthusiasts?

I mean the type of bikes that,

1, Go seriously fast + handle corners
and
2, Dirt bikes

What do you ride? I ride an R1 and a KX250.

I like motorcycle racing, riding fast and leaning into corners. My favorite racing series is the TTXGP.

I ride a Brammo Enertia now, but I am planning to ride a Brammo Empulse (see current avatar) when they are available in 2011.

I couldn't keep up with an R1, but I'd say my cammed V-Star 1100 is pretty quick:

It depends on your definition of fast.

I know for a fact that my 1998 Valkyrie will do 135mph. That would be a limit of the driver, not the bike. Cornering is limited by my engine guards, which I scrape every other ride.

I live in the mountains and cruise up and down canyons. Ducati's and Aprillia's lose me in the corners, though I can usually catch up in the straights. I have no interest in track riding.

I ride a BMW Adventure bike. It has well over a liter of displacement, very quick, very road worth for touring, and it enjoys the mud and knobby tires very much.

For now I'm still a (slow) motorcycle enthusiast, I can get up to highway speeds but it's not particularly comfortable. It handles corners great though! I ride a 2008 Ninja 250.

The new Ninja 250's are sweet little bikes, my ex has one and it does handle very well. I ride a 2007 Buell XB12R, best handling motorcycle I've ever ridden.

I unloaded my ZX6R at the beginning of the winter. Mildly modded, really enjoyed it. Handles great, plenty of pep, sounds good, looks good (to me).

I hope to pick up another later this year.

I highly recommend the book - Twist of The Wrist II by Keith Code, it comes with a DVD. I purchased it about a year ago, and even-though I don't get to a track very often what he teaches about the basics of high performance riding applies to normal street riding as well. I read, try it out, re-read and try it again until the bad habit holding me back is gone (and I had a few and still have a few more), it is amazing to me how much I have improved and how much confidence I have gained.

I may need to check that book out. I know I don't ride my SV1000S to anywhere near its potential.
