The focus is not happening...reason being his sister has one and he does not deem them very exciting to drive. He borrowed hers for a month. It was a standard..fine car all around just not what hes looking for when it comes to fun.

And as far as fun... I love mine in that regard. |
Trouble with the RX series is finding a mechanic that knows what to do with a rotary. Many of the shops I've talked to don't trust anything that doesn't have pistons ;)
and gg, I'm not saying to get the Focus, but unless his sister has the version Will is talking about, then we're talking about 2 different cars. The Focus RS looks like a focus, but it definitely does not behave like one. |

Throwing the 1911 Porsche into the mix as of now....which version I do not know. Probably a 70's model.

The 911 Porsches can be very nice sports/gt cars, or an expensive maintenance nightmare. Do some homework and get to know what a properly well maintained 911 looks and sounds like; if you aren't real familiar with the car, maybe you can get a good Porsche mechanic to check it over, that would be a good idea.
Back in the '70's they also had the 912 which is a 4 cyl version of the 911; then the 911's came with the air-cooled flat six cyl in either T, E, or S versions with the T being the most sedate (but still fun) and the E a step up, and the S being the hot rod of the line. |
