That's a very old trick for getting the bead back on the rim. It works great, just be VERY careful with the spray (any flammable spray works). Less is better in this case. And don't forget to air-up the tire at the first chance. The flame heats the air and causes it to expand, but it does not actually inflate the tire. As soon as the air inside the tire cools, it will be flat again.
