i'm trying to find a table or stats for the number of new cars sold in 2007 by model. i've found them by make, and i have found random months by model, but can't find the year as a whole. anyone know where i can find this information? thanks!

Ford Mustang - 50,000
Toyota Camry - 70,000
Chevy Corvette - 20,000

something like that. i'm sure SOMEONE puts out those numbers

Automotive News compiles all those numbers, but you have to be a subscriber to access the info. Off the top of my head I don't know of anyone that puts that info out for free.

Maybe look thru this GM Inside News forum http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f78/ in the "monthly sales results" section? You might have to add up the numbers yourself if you can find each month. For example, here's a post by Perian with numbers for March 2006 that I think are "highly reliable".

i actually found the top 20 in the first 4 months of 2008 which worked just fine.

i was looking for sales of the prius in comparison to other autos. some friends of mine didn't think it had been successful, but so far in 2008 it's the 13th most sold vehicle in the US (out of 375ish). i'd say that's doing pretty well...
