yeah, we were board LOL. We felt bad becuase I had a set of OLD GS-SC's that need to get desposed of, but we couldn't see a good tire like that just getting tossed - it needed to be used. :D

damn ... so is that your Bird? ... and do you do a little SCCA stuff w/ it?

My buddy w/ the GAFBA would love that Firebird ... do you have more pics of it?

Thats my bird, its a old SCCA T2 car. We currently have it setup for A/S (less the motor restrictions). Once they give BIR the okay the LOL region SCCA will be back in business :D Word is next year (if the track passes safty inspection) we could run next year. Its just to hard right now to try and race Chicagoland region with the added expenses of travel etc. In the time being I've am running some heads up racing events at BIR and RA as well as some hot lap/test and tune days. I raced 125cc shifter cars for two years prevous so racing is nothing new, just the tire bill. I'll throw some pictures up later.

man hearing you talk makes me want to get back out on the tracks so bad ... it has been 6 years since I was last on Road Atl. I used to do the club days w/ the BMW CCA

and I hear you about the tires ... you are good to get about 2 or 3 weekends out of a set

If you are getting 2 or 3 weekends you are doing awesome. I figure if I am very nice to my tires I will get a weekend out of them. To be compeditive I will go through 2 sets in a weekend. This is running the Hoosier R3S03's. If I run a Kumho V700 I'm not quite as fast but they last 3X as long and are about the same price. Speed and money do have a relation ship.. I think its 3X as much money to go 3% faster LOL
