Ah yes the might 'vette. I had a 1982 standard model in bright beige. Definitely not a crowd pleaser, but solid. Drove me from Toronto to Vancouver & back twice.

Isn't the second one a Datsun 240 or 260z? I thought they were pretty decent.

my vote for fugly goes to the 1990's Buick Skylark.

How could something that looked so Boss in the '70's:

1970:

And 1977:

Become so lame, and dull and uninspired by 1996:

Honestly, if ever there was a reason to turn your back on something because it is depressing and you just don't want to look this lame, split personality design is one.

All my picks have been posted but the 1976 AMC models top the list. Makes me wonder if AMC ever built anything except ugly rides. The Gremlin, Matador wagon, and the rolling fish bowl Pacer.

I may very well be in the minority, but I can't stand that thing

And I just can't resist, and I know I'm in the minority on this one, and I only bother bringing it up because SO many people drool over this....

I don't care how fast it can go, it's a gawdy tacky looking boat.

...the Citroën 2CV....most fun you’ll ever have at near-stationary speeds. But sacre bleu, it’s a fugly car. Looks were far down the list of objectives in developing the Deux Chevaux. Putting postwar France on rugged, cheap, reliable wheels was the goal. With French production spanning four decades, from 1948 to 1988, that goal was surely met. It’ll always be remarkably fugly, but it’s also going to be an eternal automotive icon.

...i must not be allowed to post pictures because i don't see a Browse box anywhere here. I guess i have to earn that right here too? I have a good pic but no way to post it.
