1910 auto race.....

Thanks, very cool photos. I find it hard to believe/amazing that no one has yet identified the location and race ...but apparently they haven't.
I tried blowing up some of the photos but the low resolution can't provide useful detail. |
If it was 1911, I'd venture a guess that it was Indianaoplis, but being 1910, and no bricks...no dice.

That is just too cool. Vintage model T racing @ its best. Wooden spoke wheels and 4 bangers. Truly, quite a find.

Indy was around in 1910. The first 500 was 1911 but that wasn't when racing started.
I don't think it is Indy though. Bobby couldn't have missed THAT section? |
I wonder how fast those cars actually went during that race.
Also, the pics of the Empire State building on that site are really cool. |
