Mercedes are known at the moment for producing cars since the Diamler Chrysler partnership with electrical problems causing distress and headache to the owners of the vehicles. Aswell with Lexus you get Toyota relibility and warranty. Toyota once again holds the top spot in the lowest problems per vehicle where Mercedes is considerably down the line. You get Japanese engineering and engenuity at respectable rates. The powerplant is more efficient and produces better fuel economy and with quieter suspension it is a smoother and less noisy ride.
