This is Mr. Justification/Rationalization speaking:
You guys might not be considering the "big picture". Based on my limited experience with women, in the long run they could very well cost you more. So in comes my value judgement: is she worth more to you than that car? Since there are so many great women, there are likely many women I could be happy with, but since that Ferrari is so rare, I'll have to go with the Ferrari and take my chances finding the mate later down the road. |

That is such an awesomely gorgeous car, one of my all time favorite for sure. I was a young lad of 18 when that puppy was born.
Only about 5 years later, I "almost" purchased a 1967 275 GTB Ferrari which is another one of my all time favs, it was in excellent condition for "only" $14,000 but at the time that was too much for me so I bought a '67 XKE Roadster instead, perfect condition for a lot less. I guess I'm just a crazy car guy. So I figure I'm a better cook than most, if not all, women I've met in life and I don't really need anybody to cook for me; or laugh at my jokes, I have plenty of friends for that and I'm fool enough to laugh at my own, especially when I'm driving a car I love; join me in the sack: well if I could choose the Ferrari I'm sure I'd just have to make other arrangements for that need. So I'll take my chances and go with the car and figure the rest out for myself. |

Both cars pictured in this thread are butt-ugly even with the 10 million price mark.
Sallen S7, McLaren F1, F430 Spider. Now that's beauty.

The thing is, I don't care about a history of cars. If it's beautiful to look at, turns heads, fast and has features not found on any other car, it will grab my attention. The F430 and Modena are the the best looking Ferraris to date. Followed closely by Testarossa (my first Ferrari love) and F40.
The one Bobby posted reminds me of that Ford race car which I hate.

Well there is no accounting for taste, so what some like, others don't, and nobody's right but everybody's wrong. I care about car history, but the history or lack thereof has no bearing on whether I think it looks good or not.
But obviously LoganSnake has quite tilted taste in great looking cars. And it's no wonder, since he seems to live near Skokie and I never met anybody from Skokie that had good taste. Last edited by BadNick; 07-21-2006 at 10:37 AM.. |

How many people from Skokie have you met?
Well, I guess I long for anything that looks futuristic. I like cars curvy and with smooth lines. The OP's car being one of the exceptions.

I think it's ugly.
Now, if it were in black, that would be another story.
