Some lyrics I wrote recently
 

Well got some lyrics for ya. Wrote these about a week and a half to two weeks ago. They're the result of a couple of restless nights when I had a million thoughts going through my head. These are the first songs I've written that are meant to be sung. I know how they'll be sung and I can hear the music in my head. My guitar skills aren't developed enough to write music to these though (YET!). But soon they will be and I'll be performing these in Cafe's for small crowds it'll be great. Here they are.

This first one is going to have a female background vocalist singing harmonies in the chorus and in small parts throughout. It'll be done acoustic and soulfully with a hint of R&B in the style of artists like Tracy Chapman, or Blessed Union Of Souls...Or Tony Rich Project...yeah. I think it will sound really nice some day. Maybe a little piano too.

The second will probably be your typical bluesy soft acoustic style with light electric guitar harmonies like bends and maybe some strings or piano. Not sure yet but pretty simple and nothing too overproduced.

Nope only in my head. Not good enough to play them YET but I will be soon enough(hopefully). Then I'll sing and play em at the same time. That'll take a while though...I hear it's difficult to do both.

Got some more lyrics I wrote last night. I'll put em up when this one gets a lil more love :)

Do an album cover of you standing on a beach somewhere, looking all moody and shit, you'll have chicks all over you like a rash.

ahahaha thats funny shit. I've always thought of an album cover. I think I'll do some piece of artwork like a drawing or really good photograph perhaps. My guitar skills are coming along pretty good just need more time is all haha. I got plenty I'm young :cool:
