Poetry thread
I intend to start posting poetry more frequently, so I figured I'd start a thread. Here's a short one I came up with on the way back from the pie shop:
I give thanks to the pig who died for my dinner And thanks to the Lord who created this sinner. Give us this day our daily greed, While the hungry and thirsty continue to need Let us feign our sincerity and, evermore May we turn a blind eye to the lame and the poor

An interesting version that feels like a well known prayer. It's given me something to think about. Thanks for sharing!

Being a cynic myself I can relate to this type of writing. I've done it before myself. It does make you think. Keep posting.
