Thanks to my overambitious creative side and a fateful conversation with somebody on the campus television station, I am now writing a screenplay. Set right here on campus, the inspiration behind it was the short live TV series called The Others. The opening scene has the main characters in a building called Miller Auditorium attempting to conduct a seance for the spirit of Emma Guffy Miller who, as you might have guessed, is the namesake of the building. Local lore has it that she still haunts North Hall and Miller Auditoriums.

The main characters form a small clique who refer to each other by nicknames chosen for their relationship to the esoteric. So, Rick becomes Rune; Katie becomes Kharma, and so on. I am very tempted to put in a flamboyant character who's nickname is Tantra. What can I say, real world inspiration is hard to deny.

This is the first several scenes which I wrote over the course of the last two days. Let me know what you think.

It is pretty interesting so far. Kind of sounds like an episode out of Scooby Doo, with a college twist to it.

Yes I did enjoy it. I would like to write a play/TV series set on a train. The main character would be the onboard computer called TMS. He talks to himself and calls himself Tims. If he doesn't like the crew he plays tricks on them. (bit like Red Dwarf poss.) One day, maybe I'll write it.
Good Luck with yours. I like the names of the characters and as I scare easily the ghostly bits made me shiver.
