A couple poems written by my girlfriend - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

These poems were written by my girlfriend a few years ago and she was too nervous to post them for herself. I have complete permission to post these, but she feels that people are going to judge her. I have told her that the people of the TFP are generally very kind and only give advice and support that is positive.

This first one is about a book she read and ejoyed a couple years ago called "Silver Kiss" by Annette Curtis Klause.

"I've Finally Found the One I'm Losing" - StaindGirl

His eyes so full of darkness
will he ever see the light?
Will he feel the pain I place inside?

His touch is so gentle
I'm caught up in the night
Oh how I wish he could feel the same
It's such great delight.

I want to show him the way...
The way to the guiding light
He needs to go, for he's been here too long.

The lonesome days have passed
I've found one like me
But now I must let him go
Go to a place he must be.

This next one is not one of her favorites. She had to do this for school, therefore there were guidlines that had to be met and all that stuff. It is a fictional poem about a vampire.

"Time to Become" - StaindGirl

Beautiful sheer drops, wafting in the summer's night
My skin tingling to his touch of dead life
Soon my time will come, the bite of death, the taste of lust
Aroma of rose petals fill the den with pasion
Soft, comforting bed sheets, white as a snowball born
A bit nervous, a salty sweat drop drips to my lips
before I could wipe it away, my mysterious lover tastes my fear
Rubbing round the redness of my neck,
a lick of his tongue, the first taste ever
then a bite, the bite of dead life
Offered to become a creature of the black night
I accept to be with him, the love of my lonley life.
A swift flick of the knife, told me I am one step closer
My body will slowly die, the thirst of blood will arise
For it is time now, the sweet blood has touched my own tongue
Two creatures of the night, feeding, making love
and of all, becoming anonymous to others.

That is all of the poems for now...perhaps she will want me to post others another time. Hope that you enjoy them.

even though its kinda embarrassing...but meh oh well.. I love you hun! and yeah.. I dont really want to talk about my own poems.. personally I dont like them
