i run to you
there are no rules
no bonds to say
how far we run
in passion
angel
your smile is all i need
i know you deserve
a queen
like i imagine she must be
and when she smiles
your world lights up
and when you kiss her
you know it's love
does she take your breath away
like you take mine
does she make you want to cry
i cry each time
i want so bad to touch you
but i can't
hold it all inside
anymore
i just wanted to say
i hope she knows
how lucky she is

this is a great piece of work, thank you for sharing. this really caught my attention becaus eit sounds a lot like something i just wrote. Love and Peace

~step lightly into the snow
tilt your head toward the havens
there you shall find me
wings peirced by arrows
sunscorched and falling~

yes, honesty and straightforwardness with emotions gives this poem a tint of the frustration and melancholy that we've all felt in that situation, which is the poet's job
